Shelby is a wife and a mother to 3 kids: Lyrik, Ella and Grady. Her husband, Jason works internationally in the oilfield. Most recently, she's a stay at home mom. Prior to that, she worked in the medical field for a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Oklahoma heart hospital. 

Watching her daughter participate in the Swim Life program inspired her to expand my knowledge to help kids with essential life saving skills in the water. She is passionate about drowning prevention because as a child, she fell into a pool and it took way too long for someone to get to her. She was terrified of water after that. Shelby believes that had she had the skills Swim Life teaches, the incident wouldn’t have happened. 

She enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts and traveling. She's grateful for the opportunity to balance her roles as a mom and a coach, and she loves making a positive impact in the lives of those around her while giving parents peace of mind.
