I was born and raised in New York. Where I met my husband in 2008. In 2010 we got married and started our journey with the military. We have been stationed in NC twice, Hawaii and Okinawa. We have two beautiful children.
In 2014 while we were stationed in Hawaii I became a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. I worked at the YMCA as a trainer and taught a few different group exercise classes including a group fitness class in the pool.
It wasn’t until I had my son and moved to Okinawa where water safety became a huge priority. Being surrounded by the beautiful views of the ocean and experiencing fun beach days is when I knew I had to invest in my son's safety. We did research and asked around and found Swim Life! He has been with Swim Life since he was 19 months and is now learning stroke development. On my daughter's 1st birthday she also started swimming with Swim Life. These Coaches have watched and helped both of my babies grow and learn survival swimming.
Being a parent on the pool deck is awesome, watching them grow and learn at each lesson. So when the opportunity came up to become a coach and help other kids learn and achieve survival swimming and water safety like mine did, there was no way of passing up the amazing and rewarding opportunity.
I’m so thrilled to be a part of this wonderful Swim Life community and look forward to teaching your little ones!
